Do I need prior candle-making experience?
No experience is needed. This class is beginner-friendly and fully guided step-by-step.
What is a body oil candle?
A body oil candle is a skin-safe candle made with nourishing oils and body-safe waxes that melt into a warm oil designed for massage and moisture. It's both a candle and a body oil experience in one.
Will the candle be hot?
No. The melted oil is warm to the touch, not hot. We always recommend testing a small amount first before applying to larger areas.
Can I customize my scent?
Yes. You'll choose from our curated Candle Profile Menu featuring signature scent families designed to create a smooth and elevated experience. Signature Sunkissed accords and stronger fragrance upgrades are also available during class.
Can I choose the color of my candle?
Yes. Guests will have the option to add candle color during the experience for a personalized touch.
How long does the class last?
The workshop typically lasts 70–80 minutes. This allows time for your candle to set enough for safe travel home.
Can I take my candle home the same day?
Yes. Your candle will be set enough to safely transport home after class. We recommend keeping it upright and allowing it to continue settling for the next few hours.
What should I wear?
We recommend comfortable clothing and avoiding loose sleeves since this is a hands-on workshop.
Is the candle refillable?
Yes. Refill kits are available for purchase so you can continue your Sunkissed ritual at home.
Are private group bookings available?
Yes. Private bookings are available for birthdays, girls' nights, date nights, bridal events, and special occasions. Please contact us directly for private event pricing.
Booking Policies
Booking Policy
All bookings are non-refundable.
Due to the nature of this hands-on experience, we do not offer refunds for cancellations, missed appointments, or no-shows.
Your reservation secures your materials, preparation time, and class space.
Late Arrival Policy
Please arrive on time.
Guests arriving more than 10 minutes late may not be able to participate fully.
Late arrivals may be:
- asked to join a later session
- rescheduled to another available date
Rescheduling is at the discretion of the Instructor on Duty. If rescheduling is granted, a $15 rebooking fee may apply.
We recommend allowing extra time for:
- Traffic
- Parking
- Rideshare delays
- Finding the venue
Out of respect for other guests and to preserve the full experience, we are unable to restart or delay classes due to late arrivals.
No refunds will be issued for late arrivals or missed sessions.
No-Show Policy
Guests who do not attend their scheduled class without notice will forfeit their booking and are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.
Rescheduling Policy
One reschedule may be permitted with at least 48 hours notice.
Requests made less than 48 hours before your scheduled class may not be eligible for rescheduling.
Same-day cancellations and no-shows are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Guest Policy
Only registered guests may attend the workshop.
Due to limited seating and preparation requirements, additional guests or spectators are not permitted unless previously approved.
Safety Policy
By booking, guests acknowledge that this is a hands-on experience involving warm materials and candle-making supplies.
Guests agree to follow all safety instructions provided during class.
Sunkissed Skincare is not responsible for misuse of products during or after the workshop.
Age Policy
Recommended for ages 16+.
Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian depending on the event setting.
Allergy + Skin Sensitivity Notice
Our candles are made with body-safe ingredients, but guests with known skin sensitivities, fragrance allergies, or ingredient concerns should contact us prior to booking.
Patch testing is always recommended before full use.
Product Care Disclaimer
Your candle will be set enough for transport at the end of class but is not fully cured.
Please keep your candle upright after class and allow additional time for complete setting at home.
Due to the custom nature of this experience, all sales are final once the candle has been created. Scent preferences are subjective, and results may vary based on individual skin chemistry.
Group & Private Class Bookings
Private classes are available for birthdays, celebrations, couples, and corporate events.
- Minimum guest count may apply
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure private bookings
- Final headcount must be confirmed 72 hours prior to the event
