Perfume-Making Class FAQ's

What exactly is included in the class?

You’ll create your own custom 30 mL Eau de Parfum (spray perfume) during a guided, hands-on experience. The class includes scent discovery, up to two test blends, one finalized fragrance, professional dilution, bottling, labeling, and packaging.


Optional upgrades such as a roll-on perfume oil, body oil, and dusting powder are available during class.

How long is the class?

The experience lasts approximately 90 minutes. Please plan to arrive on time to enjoy the full experience.

Do I need any experience to attend?

Not at all. This class is designed for beginners. Everything is guided step-by-step, and you’ll receive support throughout the entire process.

How many fragrances can I use?

You may use up to four fragrance notes in your final perfume. This keeps blends balanced and ensures a high-quality result. You may test up to two blends before choosing your final formula.

Can I recreate my perfume later?

Yes. Your final formula may be saved on file, allowing you to reorder your scent in the future as a spray, roll-on oil, body oil, or dusting powder.

When can I wear my perfume?

Your perfume can be worn immediately. However, for best results, we recommend allowing it to rest for 24–72 hours so the scent can fully develop.

Is the class safe?

Yes. We follow safe handling practices and use professional-grade materials. However, the class does involve fragrance oils and perfumers alcohol. Guests with fragrance sensitivities, allergies, asthma, or who are pregnant should consider this before booking.

What if I don’t like my perfume?

Because each scent is custom-made, all sales are final once the perfume is created. That said, you’ll have opportunities to test and adjust your fragrance before finalizing it.

What should I wear to the class?

Wear comfortable clothing. Avoid strong perfumes or scented lotions on the day of the class so your nose isn’t overwhelmed while blending.

Do you offer private classes?

Yes. Private bookings are available for birthdays, date nights, girls’ nights, and corporate events. Please contact us directly for availability and pricing.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the class may be rescheduled once. Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable. Please refer to our full booking policies for details.

Can I post photos or videos?

Yes! We love seeing your creations. Feel free to take photos and videos and tag us when you share.

Booking Policies

Booking & Payment Policy

All perfume-making classes must be booked and paid in full at the time of registration. Your seat is not confirmed until payment is received.

Why this matters:

  • Prevents no-shows
  • Locks in materials per guest
  • Protects your prep time

Minimum Attendance Policy (IMPORTANT FOR YOU)

Classes require a minimum of two (2) guests to run. If the minimum is not met, guests will be notified at least 24 hours in advance and given the option to:

  • Transfer to another available date, or
  • Receive a full refund.

Why this matters:

  • Protects you from running one-person classes unintentionally
  • Keeps the experience intimate but viable

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Guest-Initiated Cancellations

  • Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the class may be rescheduled once at no charge.
  • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the class are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

Why:

  • Materials are prepped
  • Fragrance inventory is allocated
  • Time slots are blocked

Host-Initiated Cancellations

If the host must cancel or reschedule a class, guests will be offered:

  • A full refund, or
  • Transfer to a future date.

Late Arrival Policy

Please arrive on time. Guests arriving more than 10 minutes late may not be able to participate fully and no refunds will be issued.

No-Show Policy

Guests who do not attend their scheduled class without notice will forfeit their booking and are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.

Why:

This protects fairness for other guests and your business.

Age Policy

Choose ONE depending on your comfort level:

Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Health, Safety & Sensitivity Disclaimer

This experience involves fragrance oils and perfumers alcohol. Guests with fragrance sensitivities, allergies, asthma, or who are pregnant should consider this before booking. Participation is at your own discretion.

We cannot guarantee allergen-free products.

Product Responsibility Disclaimer

Due to the custom nature of this experience, all sales are final once the perfume has been created. Scent preferences are subjective, and results may vary based on individual skin chemistry.

Group & Private Class Bookings

Private classes are available for birthdays, celebrations, couples, and corporate events.

  • Minimum guest count may apply
  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure private bookings
  • Final headcount must be confirmed 72 hours prior to the event

Signature Scent Records & Reorders

Final perfume formulas may be saved on file for future reorders. Reorders are available in spray, roll-on oil, body oil, and dusting powder formats.
